Regular Industry Visit by the students to enhance their technical knowledge
Techno International-Batanagar, A unit of Techno India Group, is regularly organising industry interaction by its students to bridge the gap of academia and industry.
As a part of the programme it was organized as a special measure to enhance their employability and required exposure of industrial environment.
INDUSTRY INFLUENCE
TIB considers grooming of students, as per the industry requirement, to be one of the most important aspects of Teaching-Learning process. Hence students are trained to become successful and competent engineers and also to make meaningful contributions to the development of the society. Students who pass out from different institutes may opt for higher studies. However in reality majority of the students are absorbed by the industry directly or indirectly and as a result TIB lays emphasis on the influence of the industries to motivate the students. The institute is always in touch with the industry to make the students at per with the industry requirements. Professionals from the industry are being called from time to time to groom the students and make them aware of the industrial requirement.
INDUSTRY INTERACTION
TIB fosters interaction between the academia and industry. It has long been felt that there is a need for active linkages between industries and engineering institutions, which not only enrich the curriculum contents but also add another dimension to the existing systems of continuing educations programs, expert lectures and consultancy by faculty.
TIB launched a unique scheme that envisages promotion of industry-institute interaction by facilitating the dimension of knowledge through the expertise of experienced and knowledgeable persons from the industry to integrate their rich industrial experiences with technical educations on regular basis.
